The Webstore Administration program runs right in your web browser with no extra software or plugins required. We have designed our software to be very easy to use so you can get things done quickly and efficiently. As such, our software resembles a Windows program more than a traditional "web page", although it runs in a web browser. As such, we often refer to it as a web application.

Get Started Screen

After you create your new webstore (which you can do for free in less than 2 minutes), the first screen you'll see is "How to Get Started". This provides an automated checklist to help you get the most critical things done so your webstore is fully functional. From here, you can also access comprehensive help documents, read or post on the Create My Webstore discussion list, or chat with a support operator.

Orders Screen

The Orders screen is where you'll spend most of your time. This shows a "Quick Facts" list on the left which displays information such as total sales to-date this month, profit, projected sales, average daily sales, profit margin, and sales breakdown by product category.

The top right area shows a real-time view of your store's visitors. As visitors come to your store and browse to different pages, this window will update to show the most current status. More detailed visitor monitoring is available through the Visitors button on the toolbar.

The bottom right area lists the "inbox" for orders that have not been shipped. This list is also automatically updated as new orders come in so you don't need to refresh it. You can just leave the window open and new orders will be displayed as customers make purchases.

You can also switch to the Shipped Orders tab to view details on orders you've already shipped. Or you can search through all the shipped orders. If any orders are on hold, the "On Hold" tab will glow red to alert you to them.

One click of a button will print individual packing slips for all the current orders waiting to be shipped. These will be your reference as you pack each order, then you can just fold up the packing slip and add it to the package so the customer will have an itemized list of their package contents.

Defining your Shipping Charges

Shipping can be calculated as either a percentage of the total purchase or by using price tiers to set shipping charges. Or optionally, you can disable shipping calculations if that doesn't apply to your webstore.

Shipping Calculator (UPS)

Our UPS and US Postal Service shipping calculators are fast and easy to use, and they're great when you're up against a tight shipping deadline!

Expense Tracking

Tracking your expenses is simple and accurate. Just enter each of your expenses into the Expense Tracker so Create My Webstore can automatically calculate your profit margin.
